Gatlinburg / Smoky Mountains

These beautiful pictures are from our US roadtrip. We went to Gatlingburg to visit the Ole Smoky Distillery, and the drive through Smoky Mountain is the best! I can't get enough of this place!! The scenery is breath taking, the people there are so kind and the accommodation at www.buckberrylodge.com/ is fantastic. 

Dresses

I finally got my dress that I bought in Memphis. I forgot it at my family's house in Virginia but luckily 'uncle' Lars were going to Denmark. So he brought it back home to me. I bought the dress at Flashback in Memphis. We drove by on the way to Graceland - so I got it an 1 hour before walking down the aisle.

The other day I found this beautiful dress from https://www.etsy.com/shop/WhenDecadesCollide - so I called my mom and told her that I had found a dress that I really wanted for christmas or for my birthday. So my sweet parents decided to give me this beauty for christmas. Can't wait to see it!

One of the reasons that I feel in love with this dress is the belt. It reminds me of the dress that Maureen O'Hara wears in 'The parent trap' from 1961. I LOVE that movie and the dresses are SO pretty. I watched it the first time when I was 7 years old and it is still one of my favorite movies.

Lately

Finally found these oxford shoes online (http://www.modcloth.com/shop/shoes-flats/who-could-be-saddle-shoes) I looked in a million stores in the US but couldn't find them. So pretty happy to find them on Modcloth

He actually loves the christmas tree. Every morning he hugs the tree and tells the tree "I love you"

Christmas.....

I know it is a bit early to look at christmas presents (for me of course) but my christmas spirit is really coming early this year! Yesterday Karl & I listened to christmas music - can't wait to play it 24/7 in December. My BF - sorry hubby - actually allowed me to put up christmas stuff next weekend....after a little bit of persuasion. Anywho here is some of the things I'd love for christmas

Beaufort

We stayed in beautiful beaufort, SC. This town look like a movie set. The trees and the houses(mansions) were to die for. We stayed at hotel 2 miles outside the town - it was a crappy hotel but it was cheap. Anyway we wanted to have some wine for dinner and decided to walk in to town instead for driving. It was a beautiful walk and we saw so many pretty houses. After a lovely dinner a http://www.saltusrivergrill.com/  - we decided to walk back to the hotel instead of taking a cab. It was kind scary walking home ( but I am also a big wuss), we were the only ones outside and people in the cars looked a us like we were crazy Danes. Anyway we got back to the "nice" and very moist hotelroom....... I am so done with staying in cheap crappy hotelrooms! 

road trip VA, NC & SC

We visited some many pretty places on our roadtrip. We made a stop in Clarksville, VA. What a pretty little town. Then we went all the way trough North Carolina to Beaufort in South Carolina.
