Bits

Karl and I eat lunch with my friend, Lotz. I had my favorite salat from http://wedofood.dk/ and Karl got a yummy smoothie

we baked my first ever gluten free buns using gluten free flour. If they are any good I'll give the recipe

I got this jacket(5$) in Nashville a year ago but I've only used it three times. I really like the black/white but feel like a circus princess wearing it with colorful dresses

So I dyed it black/greyish

Hmmm too many?

So I kind of went crazy yesterday with some online shopping. But in my defense I get it shipped to my family in the US. So I kind of saved a lot on shipping.......so that's okay right? AND most of it was for Karl, I only bought these pretty sunnies. (I did order 2 pairs of sunglasses from Modcloth last week, but one can never have too many sunglasses!!)

Fall

I went for a ride on my bike this evening, and I could feel how the weather is getting colder. I love this time a year where the air is so fresh and crisp!
Hello fall how I've missed ya

In a few weeks.....

I know I mention it A LOT! But can I just do it again?

Can't wait to go crazy in the vintage stores in Leesburg, VA

This hotel and this view - AMAZING!

Karl's day

Karl stayed home from kindergarten today because he has got a cold. So we have been chilling all day - just me and him.

we made some fresh squeezed apple juice

Karl decided to eat breakfast in this bucket

Karl is really into serving his food. So we made a small buffet for dinner

Gluten free quinoa patties

I made the yummy quinoa patties again today. I did not have any chives - so I used spring onion and cheddar cheese instead of Gruyere cheese. I think you can pretty much use what ever you want.

2 1/2 cups/12 oz/340 g cooked quinoa, at room temperature
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
1/3 cup/.5 oz /15 g finely chopped fresh chives
1 yellow or white onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan or Gruyère cheese
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 cup/3.5 oz /100 g bread crumbs from gluten free bread, plus more if needed
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil or clarified butter

Mix it all together and form small patties, heat the oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium-low heat and cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until the bottoms are deeply browned.

Serve them with sour cream or guacamole

Bought 5kg chocolate for my family, friends and bloggers in the US

I stopped by Karen-Copenhagen which is such a cute vintage shop. Karen, the owner, is the sweetest girl and she looks so beautiful in her vintage outfits. Check out her facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Karen-Copenhagen/210662805806914?fref=ts

Went grocery shopping with Karl and Elvis this weekend ( What a lovely idea to bring a huge polar bear/dog....not!), and went for long walk and had yummy of ice cream.
