Cabana Bay Beach Resort

We were suppose to go to Hilton Head Island, SC for some beach time but the weather was kind of crappy there. So we ended up going back to Orlando and checked in at the The Cabana Bay Beach Resort - and I am so glad we did. It felt like we had checked into 1955 (I'll post some pictures of the resort later). We had booked 4 nights but stayed an extra night. Karl loved it, there was 2 pools, water slide, old cars and lots of ice cream. If you are ever in Orlando and love the fifties - GO!

Senoia, GA

The first stop on our US road trip was Senoia, GA. It is a beautiful little town and what I would call 'small town USA'....and it is where the film "The walking dead"(I've only watched 2 episodes because it got too scary for me!!!) This town was definitely worth a visit!

Lunch

Karl is a bit picky about his food at the moment. One day he likes one things and the next day he hates it. So I am trying to make his lunches 'funny' and delicious..... but that is not always equal healthy. I do try to buy most of the stuff organic and some gluten free. These are a few from last week.

Gingham & re-mix

Do you know the feeling when you just can't stop thinking about a dress? Seriously I look a this dress every night before I go to bed. It is the perfect gingham dress... even the back is perfect!!

 

 

  I love these pretty repro of a 40s and 50s style shoe. They look comfy and are not too high - can I please have these 2?!
