A Little surprise

I got a nice little surprise in the mail the other day. One of my old colleague saw this bow with cherries on a trip to Berlin, and got it for me. That is such a nice thing to do! I think it is so cute, and I have already found a cardigan to put it on. 

Busy busy

I got my 3 skirts done today. I have been busy sewing, grocery shopping, out with Karl and stopped by a fleamarket.

They are not perfect......but i got them done

 I have tried to plan our dinner for the next 5 days. I know I am going to be so tired this week!

A big change

I am going back to the real world on Monday.....aka work. I have known this day would come for months still I have 2 millions thing to do before Monday.  

One of the things is to finish my skirt project. So my goal is to sew 2-3 skirts in 2 days(not going to happen)

Karl is starting nursery Monday. I can´t believe this little guy is going to nursery. I mean his not little anymore, he just started to walk, but everything has just gone so fast. Sometimes I feel like it was yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. I am sure he will do fine, and I just need to get use to this change.

Vega

Last Saturday I went to the 50s party at Vega. Vega was build in 1956, so it was the perfect place for a 50s party, such a beautiful building inside and outside. I only had my phone with me, so the pictures are not the best. But I did get some pictures of the well dressed people there

50s Flea market

I had a lovely day. There were a lot of people dressed in cool 50s clothes, good music and nice weather. I actually sold quit a bit, and to make my day even better a lot af my sweet friends came by to see me! 

 The music was pretty loud so Karl borrowed his uncle Lotz´s headphones

 and his uncle Christian helped him with them

 Beautiful Nea got a pink petticoat (exactly the color I want)

  which was perfect for a dance with my BF

Bitter sweet

I have been busy taking care of a sick Karl and getting ready for the fleamarket tomorrow. I have so many beautiful dresses that I need to sell. We are going to get so much more room in our bedroom, if I get rid of all my stuff.
 So it is bitter sweet letting them go.

New lamp and new hair

 I got this lamp at a fleamarket. But the color did not fit in with the rest of our things

 

 So I spray painted it, and it looks a lot better now

 And I got a new haircut...... I was a chicken and got the pageboy
