Weekend bits

One busy weekend! My parents came to visit and to babysit Karl. Friday we celebrated my sister in law, Jana's birthday at Smuk festival. Lots of music, beer and good people.

Saturday we had a barbeque in the back yard with all the neighbours. The weather was not that good but we are vikings, so we didn't care. We got new neighbours from the US and they are so nice. Their daughter Maya made whoopie pies.... and OMG they were so good!

Sunday it literally rained ALL day. So we stayed inside played, watched cartoon and fixed my 'new' vintage dresses from Eba

End of summer

The summer is soon over - and hopefully the temperature will fall a bit (yes I know a lot of people who thinks I crazy for saying that..... but seriously I am just not person who likes hot weather) It has been a great summer and I got to spend it with so many wonderful people. I am so grateful to have so many lovely people in my life.

A broken toe

I broke my toe yesterday for 4th time in 3 years. I was in a hurry to get out the door and I hit my toe against the door. It was so painful and I couldn't wear my shoe. But I was running late so I hopped on my bike with only one shoe on and in so much pain. So because of that stupid toe, I have been on bed rest and searching for places to go on our trip to the US. I may have found one of the most beautiful (expensive) resorts ever. It looks like something from a movie and looks so Southern.

A farewell party

Our wonderful neighbours are moving to Greenland for 3 years. It so sad to see them go, and we'll miss them  so much. (Karl already miss his friends a whole lot) Anywho all the neighbours meet up at their summer house and had a little farewell party. It was one of those night were everything was spot on: the people, kids, food, drinks, wheather, sunset, bonfire.

Take walk at Sanibel Island and find lots of seashells at the beach

Visit the battlefield in Gettysburg, PA. We went there a couple of years ago, and it was very moving.

Visit one of my favorite places: Leesburg, VA. They have the best Vintage store and I get to see my family

Orlando: Show Karl Disney and visit my lovely family
